Volunteer FAQ
Do I have to volunteer in order to consign?
No. You will still earn your consignor night pre-sale passes for you and a guest. You will earn 65% of sales.
What will I receive in exchange for volunteering my time?
Team members who work the Traditional volunteer program will have the privilege of shopping early at the Volunteer Pre-sale & Party. Those who sign up for the Super volunteer program will shop 30 minutes prior to the Traditional volunteers. All volunteers will earn 65% of their sales.
May I work two smaller shifts instead?
We need you to work your shifts in full.
May I bring my children with me during my shift?
No. It will be too difficult for you to work and watch the little ones at the same time. We can work out exceptions for those volunteers who are nursing small infants.
What days/times are available to volunteer?
Volunteer shifts begin the first day of take-in and continue through check pick-up day. You may check out all the volunteer shifts once you login as a consignor. Click Here to login.
Do I have to be a consignor to volunteer?
Yes. You do have to be a consignor to volunteer at the sale.
What if I want to change my shift?
Please make adjustments/changes to your volunteer choices as soon as you find you need to change. Shifts often fill up fast so once you give up a shift, there is no guarantee that another preferred shift may be available the closer it is to sale time. What will happen if I do not complete my scheduled shift?
If you volunteer, we are counting on you to follow through. In the event a volunteer does not fulfill their obligation, or find a comparable replacement, the volunteer will not be allowed to participate as a volunteer again or participate in any future preview sale. Please understand that these guidelines have been put in to place to maintain a high quality sale.
